What to do with leftover Valentines Day Chocolate

After you’ve had your share of the sweet stuff but still have half a box of truffles, some assorted milk chocolate lips, dark chocolate roses, and countless hearts, there are plenty of things you can do with the leftovers instead of eating yourself into a sugar stupor or throwing them out.

  • Freeze the good stuff
  • Chop up larger pieces for use in baking—brownies, cookies, etc
  • Two words: Mole sauce.
  • Give them away
  • Use as an ice cream topping
  • Make hot chocolate
  • Make chocolate fondue for two—or the whole family!
  • Melt and dip fresh or dried fruit, cookies or cake and refrigerate or freeze until hardened.
